Divya has built and scaled a dynamic business conglomerate that delivered both commercial success and broader societal value. Her leadership focused on innovation strategy, sustainable growth, and change management—leading to the development and successful exits in several industries.

Beyond for profit enterprise, she has applied her operational acumen to not for profit ventures aiming to create large scale social impact, grounded in the belief that empowering people is central to meaningful change and progress.

Today, her work centres on academic research, knowledge creation, and dissemination, including serving on advisory boards of leading universities and collaborating with research centres and think tanks. She focuses on research that drives systematic change—shaping economic growth, informing policy, and deepening understanding at the intersection of practice and academia, while contributing to rigorous academic discussion.

Graduated with First Class Honors from Brunel University London in Economics & Business Finance Followed by a Masters in Accounting from University of Southern California. Became a Chartered Financial Analyst Charter holder. Completed her MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Established her first real estate development in India – a 250,000 sq. ft. Retail & Entertainment Centre for new age India called ‘Spice World’.
Established Smart Global as a co-founder as a conglomerate with interests in Telecommunications, Healthcare, Finance and Real Estate in Asia Pacific, India and Middle East.
As a Joint Managing Director of the Mobile retail business, Divya delivered successful operational turnaround of the country-wide retail business.
Leveraging her keen strategic acumen and operational proficiency, Divya was able to successfully implement the strategic turnaround strategy of a publicly listed financial services company.

As the leader, Divya was responsible for the establishment and management of Saket City Hospital, a super speciality hospital situated in India. Her efforts resulted in a highly successful financial exit through the creation of significant value within the organization.
Establishing her own Family Office, she sought out investments in funds and companies that were dedicated to delivering transformative technological products and services to their customers. In addition, she has a deep passion for supporting social causes that are focused on creating sustainable long-term positive impacts in the communities in which they operate.
